Street Fest 2009 was a Success!

The event attracted thousands of people, mostly new students since it was the Discover McGill day. We apologize for those of you that came to see us and that did not find anybody there we have been very busy lately. Here are some pictures of the event:

Street Fest August 25th 2009

McGill Street Fest is an outdoor event primarily dedicated to first year students. The SSMU Car Tuning Club will be present to the fest with exhibition cars on McTavish (Metcalfe) street directly in downtown Montreal. For the cause, McTavish will be closed from Sherbrooke to Docteur Penfield from 3h30 to 7h30 pm. Come see us there!

Club's Restructuring: Member's Meeting March 2008

A meeting will be held soon where we will discuss the following things:
    -Website maintenance and development;
    -Parking spots around the McGill Downtown Campus;
    -Major car show coming up: SCP7;
    -Decals (stickers for the club);
    -Fund raising and requests;
    -Promotion for the club;
    -Deals for automotive parts;
    -...as well as any further ideas you will bring to the meeting.

SCP7 October 13th/14th/15th 2006

We will be there with some cars of the club as well as the MRT6 race car (McGill Racing Team 6th Edition)!!! It should be a blast!!! We will be doing publicity around school about it and we will give away free tickets to the car show!!! An event not to miss!!!

NSC4 at Montreal's Olympic Stadium May 2006

This was our second major event. Furthermore, this is the second biggest car show happening in the province of Quebec. Many people inquired about the club which made it a success. Some people even thought we engineered our own perfomance parts!!!

This was our first major event. We have distributed over 2000 flyers about our club. We have also acted as the main promotor for the event on McGill's downtown campus as well as for St-Lambert's Champlain Regional College.

Promotion day at McGill's Downtown Campus September 2005

During a Friday of the fall semester we brought some modified cars from members of the club in order to let students, staff and teachers walking around know about the club. This brought the interest of many many people such that we got around 60 signatures of new members!!!

Thanks to all those who contributed to make that day a great success!
